Artist Bio:

Ryan Riss' work is driven from an interest in underground comix, vintage cartoons, hippy psychedelic art, among other inspirations.   He works primarily in ink on paper, pushing the boundaries between figuration and abstraction whilst still commanding the focus of subject matter.   Inspiration from all printed materials is a strong driving force behind his work.   He builds monstrosities from meticulous repitioion, covering entire surfaces.
